had my head redone this week, the guy who did it for me wasnt aware that the springs are diff. on the intake and exhaust and also the exhaust is beehived?

do I need to change these back or is this just a preference deal/ he said he measured them and they were all the same. I just want to do whats right..lol:rockwoot:

Sorry guys this thread must have slipped by me.

The springs with the blue line go on the intake and can go in with either side up. This is the new design. Last year we had a few people have the springs rub the head so we moved the o.d. of the spring in .025" which took away the beehive on the intake side. On the exhaust side the beehived part goes to the top. This side is found by holding the retainer in either end and moving it around. One way it will fit tight and the other it will fit loose. The loose end goes to the bottom. I apologize it took so long to get back to you both.
