I'm working on building a 96 12 valve cummins into a thousand horse and i'm going to drop it into my 01. What all do i need to drop the 12 into my 01 and make everything work?

There needs to be an application process to keep the retards out.
 
I would try deleting your account here and joining either cumminsforum.com or eatsrice.com.
 
its about to get real up in here.

you will need a ECM update that is cheapest at Auto Zone. Have them install the yellow flux capacitor and a discumbatulator whip to plug the 12V harness into the 24V ECM.

they discontinued the yellow flux. I tried to go buy one the other day for my 1000 horse 12v drop in Datsun swap. Had to settle for the blue one

I just called my guy and he said they did discontinue the color but its still they same piece only its purple now.

Got any new pics for your swap? I havent seen any since you ran that 8 sec 1/4 at TS last year.
 
No it's at my buddies chop shop right now. Doin a rear mount with the motor and adding a spoiler. Hoping to get my 60' down

I've been wondering the same thing, cept i wanna put a thousand horse 12v on my Husqvarna push mower.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!
 
LMFAO!!!! I just read through this thread and laughed uncontrollably for a good 2 minutes. Is it me or have we had an abundance of these threads lately?
 
I agree! CumminsFourm might have a more detailed description of this swap. Alot of people do it over there. Also you might need alot of this *nx*.

Step two- insert barrel.

Meh I like it because it gives us people to laugh at imagine how boring it would be with out them. All we would have is the same aruguments over cams transmissions and turbos.
