I was just wondering what is the best pump to run on a 12 valve pulling truck with a 13mm pump. Aeromotive? A1000 or Eliminator? Or a FASS, and which model? Also with or without filters?

I would run Draw straw, A1000, Filters and delete all factory poo.

I like the FASS HPFP or something. It is the 180GPH pump at 45 psi. Clean setup, and I eleminated all of the stock stuff. Plus nice thing about an electric is you can tie it in to your kill switch.

The installer had a few issues. The problems I have had were in my homemade pickup. I was wanting to keep the fuel from sloshing incredibly, so I have modified the resevoir in the tank to work. First time the hose material broke down, seems the local parts guy didn't know much about his hose. I suspect I have a similar issue again, if the hose is having issues this time I am putting in an actual standpipe that goes inside the inner tank resevoir.

What type of filter and what size line would you recomend?
thanks for the help.

I run a Magna fuel with a FS 1000 fleet guard filter in line no delivery problems plenty of fuel I can get the PN for you let me know.

He was looking for feed back from people that had 13mm pumps. Please reread it before you post. :owned: :poke: :pop:

I am running a 13mm pump but have my setup a little different than most. I am running a 5 gallon fuel cell in the box with 2 -10an lines comming from it. One of them goes to my Haisley AUX pump and the other goes straight to the factory lift pump. I took the fuel heater and other crap off it and actually did some tweaking to the housing for better flow (believe it or not but it is actually quite restictive) Both lines (all braided -8an after the filters) then enter an Aeroquip Y-Block and run into one -10line (this is where I have my fuel dump) then right after that it gets divided again with another aeroquip Y-Block and then I have dual -8an lines going to my injection pump which is dual feed.

I did alot of research and talking to people and found out that running the stock lift pump was a good idea still for idle and also when the higher RPM's kick in and the AUX pump just helps keep the pressures up. This season I will hopefully be running a Data system and will be running a sensor at the last Y-block and if need be, I will add another pump at that time but so far I have yet to see that typical sign of starving for fuel...at any RPM.

PS: its not a cheap way to do what I did with the fuel dump...in less than 1foot I have close to $450 tied up into it but it is a neat looking system. My sister thought I was some sort of drug addict when I had it sitting on the kitchen table before the instal (looked like some funky big bong with duel ports and some big valve all out of black anodized aluminum) :hehe: :hehe:
