12V ATS ex.manifold thread size?

What size of thead is inside of Cummins 12V ATS manifold, I mean stud tread between manifold and turbo?


Tomorrow I must install custom T4 adapter to my ATS manifold and I need to find correct size studs or bolts.

Inch size bolts/studs is not so easy to find this side of Earth.:kick:

I thought it was factory and used the M10x1.5 standard?

I had no idea they used factory hardware.

Just for information for others with the same problem (Cummins part number and size):

3818823 Stud M10 X 1.50 X 42
3818824 Nut, Hexagon Flange M10 X 1.50

I used standard thread bolts and or studs. I think it's 5/16NC-18. The stock metric is so close it almost works. Except later down the road when you need to use a bolt instead of the factory studs and can't thread in a standard thread bolt without the use of a 5/16nc-18 bottom tap:bang.

5/16-18 is very close to M8 ?

You guys may laugh but i've used m10 x 1.5 all thread and it has held a seal better than I would have expected, absolutely no leaks I can see at all! You can cut to whatever length you need. Nice if you get in a bind. Good luck.

That's good to know. I assumed that ATS would make something that uses stock hardware so you don't need to source new stuff.

I think You had different manifold than I have.

Today I checked my ATS manifold thread and it's full metric M10 , the same as in stock manifold.
