Ive got a 12v in a ford thats been in for a year. I put rings and bearings in it before install. Anyway theres a rattle that starts at 1800 and increases, gets louder with rpm and load. Its not a knock it almost sounds like the engine is touching the frame, but its not. I have 131 dvs in a 215 pump. Is it possible this is causing an injection rattle?

Ive got the ford case with electric shift. I guess what im asking is can an injection event noise be this loud from missmatched parts? I have all the clamps on the lines.

Not sure if its the same sound you have going on but my buddies truck always made a rattle and when the truck was crashed he pulled the motor and rebuilt it and found a bolt holding on the housing the timing cover bolts to had backed out and was rubbing on either the cam or pump gear... Cant remeber which one
