12v in a 24v truck

Ok guys I few questions hope u can help I tried searching and didn't have much luck ok I have a 1997 parts truck and I wanna put the 12v in my 98 that had a 24v can u guys tell me what I going to run into problem wise ? I was playing on trying to see if the 97 engine harness and ecm will work or am I going to have to find a 98 12v harness I trying to keep everything factory and work I would like all my gauges to work no engine lights is there anything else you guys can think of that going to cause little headache thanks in advance

ECM phase converter. Make sure to bypass the power grid.

I put a 95 into my 02. Yes adapt the sensors to the block is the easiest.

I have a '95 in a '98.5. SEVERAL threads on this, just need to search. Here are a couple:

Basically, you need to make the truck think the 12V is a 24V. Manual tranny is much simpler than an auto.
