12v problems?

Hey guys im looking around to buy an older 12 valve... just wondering if there is anything that i should be worried about when buying an older truck like that, and not just with the motor but also when buying an older 2nd gen what is ther to be concerned about?

trans, deffinately check the trans those trans were notorious for bein weak

the truck that i am thinking about has 260,000 miles on it and its a 1995... most of the front end on it has been replaced and the trans was just rebuilt with stock parts about 7,000 miles ago... it doesnt have that much done to it in the way of performance... so there is nothing else that big that i should worry about?

If you get the truck fix the dowl pin (KDP) first thing. Its not worth the risk.

mine had a new tranny in it when i bought it a couple months ago and the front drive shaft came off and busted the t-case so if its a 4x4 check and make sure there is 4 bolts holdint the front drive shaft on

if it's been well maintained and it runs/drives good, tab the KDP and enjoy!
