12v question

I am considering on buying a 98 12valve and was wondering if you could simply turn the pump up on this year model like you can on the later models.. Ive heard otherwise..

Yep. No chips or programmers for these. You have to actually replace or modify pump parts to hot rod them. That is probably the difference people are telling you about.

Another question.
You know how you can buy a fuel plate for around $200 and get an additional 140 horse or so.. Is it possible to take it to a shot and get them to cut it bigger and allow more fuel flow and not spend the extra money?

yeah you just grind it yourself, search on the forums alittle and you will find everything you need to know
