just wondering if and how many are out there, and if you all recommend this. I know it would be a little less wear on the cam but is it really necessary?
I'm going to be running 13mm pump and billet cam so should I go ahead and get the rollers? anyone know about how much longer a billet cam can last if you go roller?

If u got the jack do it.

I agree, i am running a roller setup but i am a 3.0 truck. Last year i ran a billet cam with no rollers and i could not see any wear. But it was a 2.8 truck and i did not drive it on the street. Im guessing you are going to go with a street cam? The wear will be minimal.

I wont be driving on the street but if you think it wont be necessary for a 2.6 truck I will stick with billet tappets. I don't want to throw anymore money in this engine than I have to. and its only going to be a part time puller at that.

Your call, u will get 100000000000000000000000000000000000000 different answers why to go 1 way or another, talk to your builder.

in my case I am the builder other than machine work. Thanks

I will have help from Josh but I plan to do everything I can during the assembly, the shop doing my machine work (Woodruff's) helped me in some of my decisions even though I was pretty well set in my thought process. I wish I had the money it would cost to have someone else build it cause I would have more money to put in the motor :D.

i called haisley's for rollers, and they had them, but recommended that i bought cummins bearings (or bushings) that they cut down to the correct width. their explination was they have had rollers fail and end up in the pan.
just my .02, ed

My opinion is spend the money elsewhere on the motor, buts thats is just my opinion. EEP, Haisley, Schied, all make a good set, but neither are cheap.
