12VDC push solenoid?

Anybody have a good source for these. I don't need say over 10 lbs of return force. I have found some just don't want to pay $80 for something that might work. I am trying to do a test. 3/4" stroke is all I need. The smaller the device the better.

I would prefer something that 12VDC extends it, and removal of voltage a spring snaps it back.

Are you going to use it on your AFC.I was going to use a real small air cylinder.The ones I have are spring loaded.

I have a really small air cylinder with a 12V solenoid on it. Issue is having to worry about a compressed air source.

Yes, I understand that, but for my application, I want the loss of 12V to let the solenoid retract. This is for a fail safe method.

I have a air compresor onmy motor you could get one of the small one that plug in the cig, lighter if needed.

I have one for my ARB, just if I could get the solenoid to work, I would only have to run wires to a relay. If I use the air cylinder, then I have to run air lines and still run wires. I have enough stuff under the hood of my truck now. I don't need anymore clutter.

External adjustable boost/rise fuel pressure regulator
External gate
Valet setup
Air compressor for lockers
2 cylinder EGT's with a plan for 4 more, plus the EGT in the manifold
air temp
electric fans

There is just getting a lot of clutter, and I am guessing the external gate won't clean it up much.
