Ok guys I have done searches on the forums and google with no luck as to finding a toyo proxe or a nitto 420s in an 18in rim size with a decent load rating.
Is there anyone running these tires on a 18 inch rim? If so what part number for that tire? Also how well have they held up? Reason I'm asking is because once my motor is back in the truck its going to be takin to Monster Pump Mike to be set up for drag racing:thumbup:

Toyo used to have 305/60/r18's with a good load rating but the tire was discontinued.

Im going with nitto 420s in a 20" wheel, $800 mounted and balanced. I didnt see as many tires with 18" rim sizes when i was looking.

Ok so both of the tires listed above have a little over 2700# load limit. My question with that is will it be safe to run these tires let alone DD on them? Or would these need to be a strict track tire? If that's the case I'm just gonna go with another set of terra grapplers and not worry about it.

you could use either set of those for both, daily and track....easily...same goes for the proxes...

So with a load rating that low there won't be any problems? Obvisouly these tires will wear pretty fast right? Of the that have been listed does anyone have experience with more than one of them? Hook up, wear, driving characteristics, etc......
