So since I need a practical work truck I've decided to build one. I picked up a 1983 F-250 ext. Cab 4x4 a few weeks ago. This will be a slow build since money is tight going into winter but here it is.

I'm going to use the engine from my little truck backed by a ZF5 speed. I plan to run a 4cyl Isuzu in the Dodge.
 
Classic work truck. Lol multi-color. Looks good for it age. My brother has one pretty similar and the cab has fallen. You can feel the frame move when you goin a hay field or whatever. Lol. Lets see the cummins?
 
The Cummins is still in the Dodge and will stay there until the Ford is ready for it. The Dodge is my daily driver. The cab mounts on the front of the cab are rotted that's why I pulled the cab. The bed gas no rust and I have new front fenders. I'm going to fix the cab rust and put a newer set of doors on before it gets repainted.
 
We're doin the same to his. I did mine back in January. I put a new cab on mine. I was runnin down the highway and a chunk of bondo fell out of the floor, my foot went the ought the floor. I didn't think that was to cool so I fixed it. Lol. Rhino line the floor, older ford are real bad about Rustin in the door jams and anywhere dirt and grime collects. Paint isn't really enough.
 
Yeah I've owned and rebuilt a bunch of old Fords. I use chassis saver paint on the frame and everything under the truck. That includes all under the bed, inside the bottom of bedsides, bottom of cab, core support and inside of the fenders. Then it will get put back together and repainted two tone blue.
 
Well it has gotten cold and I haven't done much. I changed direction with it though after picking up a rusted out F350 4x4 Power stroke. This let's me keep my little truck together as well. Need to change the title to 83 PSD repower. This is the donor I bought and have been driving.

Somehow missed this to begin with, I knew you were planning something though. I'll be watching.
 
I couldn't find a crew cab so I'll make this one work. Another pic of the donor.

I don't know what's up with photo bucket and not just putting the pics in the thread.
 
I don't know what's up with it either, but I don't like it. It started doing that to me when I got a new phone.

believe me andy, i would have much rather helped in your barn, then do what i was doing monday and tuesday. so you are swapping the PSD into this truck?
