1993 Chevy 6.5 Fired, Hello 24V

That wire should be for the glow plugs. I don't remember if it is a power wire to the relay, or a trigger wire from the dash to the relay, but it is somewhere in that circuit.

Your 93 has a stand-alone relay vs the newer ones that are ECM controlled, but I bet is goes to the dash light or something.


edit: I don't have a '93 schematic, but here it is on a '94. It is labled Dk Blue.

Got motor slid into place. Had to remove the front crossmember brace tubes and beat the firewall to floor pan lip back. I will need more of a drop on my pitman arm to lower the motor a bit more. Will put up pictures as soon as I can. Can't figure out how to do it on my laptop. Stay tuned.
