A good freind of mine is selling this truck, so i am giving him a hand with it.

1996 club cab 4x4 long bed Cummins Diesel
244,000 miles
Auto transmission
3k gov. springs
215 injectors
4” exhaust straight piped
KDP tabbed
Timing advanced
Tuned by Jim Jessup
Brand new mud tires (33x12.50) on aluminum rims
3” suspension lift
B&W gooseneck hitch
Power windows and locks
Has sound system (2-10” subs) just needs hooked back up to battery
Stainless steel nerf bars
Tinted windows (95% dark)
Diamond plate bed rail covers and tail gate cover
Lukes Links on suspension
Poly bushings on control arms and track bar
New shocks
DSS steering stabilizer
New complete brake job within 4,000 miles with new calipers
Gauges (pyro, boost, and trans temp)
CB
Tow mirrors

Items wrong
Needs new fender (have new fender to go with truck just needs painted)
New window and lock switch on passenger side ($30 at advanced auto parts)
AC needs new compressor ($350 at advanced auto parts)
Right mirror glass is cracked
Blower motor is noisy (may need cleaned or replaced $60 at advanced auto parts)
Interior is a little stained (does clean up with a carpet cleaner well.
Batteries may be getting a little weak (if the truck sits for a week it sometimes does not start)
Auto transmission slightly slips when you put 14,000 plus pounds behind it still pulls anything I put behind it!

I personally have seen the truck several times, it is well maintained, and runs GREAT. He basically keeps in in his barn unless he needs to tow his gooseneck with it. It tows great. It is VERY VERY well maintained. The steering is tight also. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Thanks
Brian

Is this Kremer's truck? Passed it the other day, wondering if it was his?

He was trying to help. There are a LOT of trucks for sale right now, and not many buyers. 2 years ago he might have got $8,500, today he won't.

Its not my truck, i am just trying to help a friend out here guys...telling me that he is out of his mind isn't going to do me any good...especially on the thread that truck is trying to sell on. You don't have to post guys if you don't like the price. Not trying to get into a pissing contest here, i am just saying. PM me if you have any concerns or suggestions. Thanks

I've seen mint 99's CC/LB 4x4 not sell for around $9000 these days. How bout $3,000?

Let your friend know that with our current economical situation that truck is just going to keep sitting up in that barn for alot more years at that price. Now if he wants to SELL it he may want to look at a selling price of $3,000-$4,000.

im stuck with my trucks too... will never get what they are REALLY worth or what I got in em' market just aint no good... BUMP Im sure the trucks fine I like the color...

Thanks guys for the help an suggestions. He doesn't really even want to get rid of it. But he just ahd his second kid and can't put the two car seats in the back of the truck, so he got a brand new truck thats a 4 door.

You guys are a bunch of pricks. Don't go and open your mouth just to trash someone's thread. If you actually think there is someone out there that is not aware of todays economical situation then you are out of your mind. Good luck with the sale.

hey thanks man i appreciate it.

whats bottom dollar on the truck?

Basically $8500 is as low as he will go. He has two people around here sopposedly that are waiting for bankt o either say yes or no for that price...he said if he can't get that for the truck then there is no point in selling it. I will tell you honestly that i have seen the truck first hand and it is NICE. and IMHO worth that price.

Thanks for looking guys.

I would be interested for around $6500. I gave $9000 for my 97 5 speed 2 years ago. Interior was spotless and body was pretty sharp as well. With the tranny slipping its not worth it to me. $6500 and ill get the tranny fixed up. Or I guess I can put my 5 speed in it. Let me know if he would be interested.
