I've decided to sell my 97 in my sig. Been a good truck to me while I've had it but I just dont drive it enough and could use the money in other areas anyways.
The details...
1997 Dodge 3500
4x4
5 speed
extended cab
187,000 miles or so
SLT Lariame or however you spell that
has leather interior but the drivers seat is pretty rough, but not broke down, others are pretty good
dash is cracked of course :doh:
interior isnt too bad but could use a good cleaning, headliner isnt falling down
Has diamond plate running board with lights in them
gooseneck ball
brake controller
Has a southbend clutch in it, last owner put it in and didnt know what model it was, I'd say its a CON FE by the way it grabs
front tires near new, backs fair
two little dings in passenger door and one small dinger in the passenger fender
Body actually in VERY good shape with NO RUST! Frame is still almost completely black
The worst part on this truck is the paint, its shot.... hood and roof are the worst but the paint is pealing off the sides of the bed too
I tried to take pics of the worst part of the paint.
Truck has a brand new 4" exhaust that I just put on like 3 weeks ago, was completely stock up till that point. Also I have no way to prove this but the owner before me claims he installed a new engine in the truck about 5,000 miles ago, well closer to 7,000 now.. like I said no way to prove it but this truck runs and starts great and I have no reason to not believe it i guess.
I'll be happy to answer any questions you have on the truck because I'm sure I forgot something about it.
Looking to get in that 6,750 range or so, a paint job would make this a 8,500 dollar truck. Make me an offer.... Its been a very good truck to me and I've towed with it and put some miles on it and not had any trouble with it.
Would also consider partial trades for diesel trucks, tell me what you got.
