1997 Flight Line Tow Tractor

dang that thing is sweet lookin. One question how does it go down the road and can it e titled to drive on the street?
 
neat-never seen a 2nd gen tug. The 1st gens had like 7.17 gears...not too street friendly, lol!

Yep has 7.17 or closer gears....goes down the road very very quickly from 0-35 after that the gears and the weight, approx 10K, keeps her below 35MPH..truck is awesome I just have not determined which direction to go...I have 2 other 2001 Sport DD and a 1989 4x4 Power Wagon (toy)...title is not a problem...just like any other truck...gearing and weight are a problem,....unless your towing 70k pounds behind it....planned on a gear change and remove rear bed/box...it weighs a ton....I'll get more pics ....please send email address

holy crap!!! this is identical to my 1st gen TUG, just a 2nd gen version. That would be awesome to own another, but dont have the funds. Is it 4 spd auto?
 
No it has a torqflyt, (sp) tranny. I intend on changing out the gears and replacing the bed
 
There is a guy with an old chevy 4x4 version that cleans house at the tug a truck pulls with a worn out big block.
