More specifically the dash bezel is '99-02, '98 dash bezels are a bit different and unique to '98 only because it was the last year of the old style push-pull headlight switch.

So the first 24v's in 98 had a different bezel? Never heard of this but I did know some late 98 12v's had the later interior seats in them.

Map pocket SOLD!!

Yeah all '98s have the same bezel, both 12V and 24V trucks, the opening for the headlight switch is smaller than '99-02.

'98 is a bit of an odd year, I've had both 12V and 24V '98s. The door panels are the same or very close to the '97s as well, they are different than '99-02 door panels.

Another couple of '98 oddities is the passenger seat track on Club Cabs was changed in '98 to where the seat slides clear up to the dash for easier back seat entry. But Club Cab seats have the seat belts built in like the Quad Cabs do.

I've found that the opening for the headlight switch in the bezal also varies for the trucks that have the road lamps.
I've seen some '99s with the power port (like 1998) and some with the air bag switch.
I have probably 10 of those bezals around and the differences are notable, if you look.

My 1998 SLT Q/C has the same door panels and seat material as any 1999 up SLT, but that may be a difference between base models and SLTs.

I might be getting a 98.5 slt this week I wonder if it will be the same interior as my 01 slt or have different door panels and dash bezel.

I also have a good stock p pump gear for sale $100 shipped also will do trades for 12v billet engine parts performance parts or new in box 12v arp head studs

Bump also got a whole 24v engine fan assembly. Fan, clutch, pulley, hub/bearing support asking 275 for the setup.

Should be good now

The boots pictured fit the straight shaft shifter of 1998 and up, with the large cup holder console set-up.
