I have just purchased a new exhaust manifold for my 1999.5 dodge 2500. The problem is that the turbo pedestal slants towards the valve cover my old manifold was just opposite slanted toward the bottom of the motor. the shop that I purchased the manifold from won't take it back even in exchange is there something that I can do to use the current manifold?

what do you mean? I am by no means a mechanic just trying to replace my manifold that had a crack in it. If by a joke you mean that I am missing something obvious please explain just trying to fix a farm truck.

Ok is it just me or is he holding it upside down?

Maybe I am not picturing it right but sounds that way.

I thought the same but didn't want say that unless I looked the part up through Cummins and got a visual of it first.

turns out to be a bad casting. I guess that is what i get for not bpending $400 on a 3 piece. Good news is that wharehouse is taking it back. Thanks for the help.

Could you post a picture of it up here please? I would like to see it before you send it back.
