see ya there. the pro-street diesel class is still pulling right? tample never did add it to the schedule. i am really wantin to get my first hook of the year.
 
What time are the diesel pickups expected to go on? I got a bad ass party I'm going to down that way and I'd like to hit up some pulling action beforehand.

Sometimes were first, sometimes were last, Its a crap shoot
 
let me know when they have one down there again, i already have a pull next week up my way but id like to get out and run at some other places if i get the chance.
 
They have a street diesel class.. pretty much NADM street rules but with a 2.5 turbo limit.
 
the rules are put together for and by jeff jenkins, they eliminated the 2.8 class a year or two ago and he ran to temple to get a class put together so he'd be competitive, thats why the rules are kinda bullsh... its like winchester va this year, you have to pay 60 bucks to be a member of dragon to run, that is f'n retarded:doh::bang
 
I totally agree its retarded, but im sure you'll be just like me and pay the money just to play.

I think alot of the guys that had been running there for a while felt like they were written to keep some people out of the class. There a quite a few trucks missing this year from years past...

Like for instance, what's up with a max 33" tire rule?

I can see a 35" limit, but at 33" you knock people out, for what purpose?


And secondly, I agree with a 2.8" no-bushing class, but it is not popular and will definitely exclude many 3" trucks. DHRA tried that for one year and now they're done. So while it was a good idea in theory, who is gonna build a truck to that kind of uncommon spec? It's a unicorn class.

And we don't need any more stinkin' unicorn classes. Run NADM rules or prepare to die.

Y'all need to put your comments on Dragaonpulls.com for temple to see. Go easy on him, hes not a diesel guy, but if you talk to him and show him your reasoning he will listen. Not saying they will change up rules mid season but I know he is trying to get more of a diesel truck following. And they truly are a good bunch of guys to run with from what I can tell.
 
well the bushing rule is ignorable since all you have to do is get another front cover and machine it to meet the rules. thats what ill do if we ever get a 2.6 class around here.
and some of the trucks from before stepped up like jeremy, and my buddy eric strite but he also lives in pa and all the pull are along way from him.

and tire size i can see but i had them go wider on the tire size for me, all it took was a phone call. not tryin to defend anyone just say, lol heck they all run better than mine does. i hope no one watched my horrible display lol.
