1st timer question

I have a modded 03 dodge. Would you recommend 3rd gear locked? or do i go up into O.D.? Thanks for the help guys

We always run our trucks in O.D. hardest part is keeping it locked up when rolling into it, but a couple of try's and you'll get it.:rockwoot:

I do third gear locked.. its 1 to 1. isnt that true hp. when you engine dyno something it is 1 to 1.

direct drive is better for HP and OD is better for torque #s.

Good question. I dynoed for the 1st time and I tried 5th gear and it wrapped up way quick (4.10 gears) so I did my run in 6th. My results are in my sig.

Those are some awesome numbers man did they tell you to ride your brakes alittle so the engine would load ?

if you dont run in your 1:1 gear, your not getting an accurate dyno.
