Hey, buying a 06 mega cab laramie. Has a few mods already done. 4 " Lift kit,high flow air intake, true arc intake manifold, airdog, arp studs, exuast, and not sure what kind yet but a lil bigger turbo, running 40 lbs boost. no programmer though or boost fooler. check light comes on with turbo overboost code. Do you guys have any recomendations on a programmer? Do i need a boost fooler as well? We took it on a test drive the other day and loaded the smarty on it, WOW i loved it! but check light still came on with same code. So I must need a boost fooler right? This will be my first diesel and don't know much about the modifications since my bulldozers never need modded. lol Any help would be great! Been told smartys are the way to go.
