2.5 or 2.6

Cant decide on what class i should shoot for... it a pry big step up goin to a 2.6 from 2.5? what kind of rules tend to change between the 2


round here theres not really set classes they just kinda throw ya in together on there opinions...

i just want to be set for a class so if i do go to a big pull where they tech ya im ready...

what would be a good turbo for each class....

thnx for any advice

Go 2.5 and pull in both. If you go 2.6 and there is a 2.5 pull you won't be able to pull. You can do pretty well with a 2.5 turbo in most 2.6 classes... don't expect to win if there are any serious 2.6 trucks, but you won't be last either as long as the rest of your setup is there.
 
Get a S300. Im going to run workstock this summer. 2.6 used to be just daily driver trucks now there people building pulling trucks to run just 2.6. Workstock is your best bet to be more competitive and it cost less money.

U Know what mine is and what kind of power it made. Get 3 front cover made one for 2.5, 2.6 and for 2.8 HA HA That what all the big boy are doing that have the money.:what:

makes sense....especially with the 2.5 and 2.6......
 
what exactly do u have to do im lost?
u can have a front cover made. Which is the inlet of ur turbo side they can make go over ur wheel that can have ur opening to match whatever size u need. Now unknow why the 2.6 class is really not really a 2.6 class. U could take what ever size turbo and the front cover made to fit with in reason there is apoint where u go backwards.:bang

ie bushign a 2.8 to 2.6 or machining a 2.6 cover to fit a 2.8 wheel
