2.8/3.0 Puller Valve Stem Seals?

Are you guys running valve stem seals on your built puller only motor? What would be the benefits of running them or not running them? Thanks!

Some do Exhaust only on street engines. I prefer none at all.

How bad does the motor smoke without the seals? Does it go away once its warm?

Both. You will never notice the smoke on an engine with big injectors due to the haze already coming out the stack, even if its warm or cold.

My main concern is the truck is going to have to pass emissions at some point in time.

Thats why you would need to run them on a street engine. A performance engine will never pass an emissions test unless detuned. Ive always installed them on engines that may see the street some time in its life. If it strickly a competition engine then no seals
