The one on the drivers side is for the pull coil in the FSS. I don't know what the other one goes to (I've heard the fuel heater) mines never had a connector plugged into the passengers side relay.
The solenoids for the grid heater are on the drivers side fender.
I've pulled the grid heater assemblies and wiring, pulled the a/c wiring and cut it at the branch just past the injection pump - then re-loomed it to look stock. I would like to continue to do more!
gotta have a/c...but those are the only wires that ever shoulda went accross the firewall
whata joke
all those test ports under hood long gone
fuel heater etc
i dont have anymore wires on the drivers side going from the fender to the motor - easier to mess with the gov springs and afc
it took a while to untape everything and i did screw up and get lost for a minute (went to the dealer and pulled it all up on his puter). lots of work but now that its done i am glad i did it
still thinking about movin the pcm over to the drivers inner fender
i use deutsch connectors on the bikes so i have the pins and the tool to crimp the pins on (can shorten the wires)
there arnt that many left in my pcm anyways
have stripped it of everything but the tach n gen (pretty much)
