Selling this for my cousin. Times are tough now, and being the only income in the household with a wife and two kids to support is forcing the sale of this truck. He's owned the truck for 6 years, and it's been his baby. He's behind on the payments, so if he doesn't sell it by 12-4-09 then it's going back to the bank. He's asking $8600 for the truck which is exactly what he owes on it (he refinanced when times started getting tough.)

Here's the specs:

2000 REG. CAB LONG BED
187xxx miles
Manual windows
Manual locks
Rubber floors
NV4500 5 spd tranny
B&W goose neck hitch
Dual 4" exhaust with 6" tips
DC1 16" rims with 30% (being conservative) tires
Optima Yellow tops
EDGE COMP
Isspro Guages
AFE stage 1 intake
ATS arc flo
100-150hp injectors (not sure what exactly they are. Still remains cool enough to tow)
HX40
FASS 95 HPFP
SBC 3600 12CB
SBC Hydros

The only thing that he's keeping off the truck is the head unit (returning to stock), fog lights, tool box, and car seat.

Here are the pics. They were taken on short notice, hence why it's dirty. He hasn't had a chance to clean it here lately because of harvest and the nasty weather conditions.

The exterior of the truck is pretty good considering the truck is 10 years old. Has one dent behind the rear wheel that is hid by the soot. Other than that, it just has the normal rock chips and scratches here and there.

The only spot of rust is on the drivers side cab corner and rocker panel (see pics)

Interior is also in pretty decent shape minus the driver's side tear and the two cracks in the dash fascia. THE DASH ITSELF ISN'T CRACKED WHICH IS VERY RARE!!

Whoever ends up with this truck will be very pleased with it!

Here's the pics. If you have ANY questions, please PM or call me 217-257-7810 and I'll direct you to him. He needs it gone by 12-4-09 or it's returning to the bank.

PRICE IS FIRM AT $8600! CAN NOT NEGOTIATE A DIME! THAT IS PAYOFF!!!

Thanks Guys... God bless

-Drew

Just a simple suggestion or 2!! Clean the truck up and take some pictures in the light! Good Luck

sorry to hear about the tough times he's facing....god bless him and i hope he learned his lesson to NEVER finance a vehical.

Yea... If ya notice, I said that it was on short notice. The bank told him TODAY that they were gonna repo it Saturday. So he called me to take pics. And the sun was going down, so I didn't have much time.

I'm going to see if he will clean it up to take som more pics tomorrow.

if he had someone who would get close to payoff and loan him a little cash wouldnt that be better than a repo and ruin his credit?

He's thought about it, but there's no way that he can pay that person back. My dad's already offered that to him.

Bump

i dont know his situation or yours but financing a vehicle is not a lesson to be learned from. actually its quite normal. many, many people do it. infact, more than pay cash i would bet. and seeing as he has been paying for it for 6years you cant say he bit off more than he could chew.

sorry for the hijack. good luck with the sale, and good luck with his ill fortune. god knows we could all use a little prayer during this bad time.

agreed, if you want to keep the repo off your record, sell the truck for whatever you can get before sat. take that $$$ offer to the banker and offer him the $$$$ for the title and then get him to give you a small unsecured loan to pay off the difference....if you can get within 2-3 thousand i bet he will do it...
