2001 NV4500 Question

Just got as title says in a club cab long ed 4wd truck. Needs clutch for sure buy put it in 3rd and has clicking and clunking. 4th is fine and 2nd kinda touch unless u let rpm fall which I believe is the soft 300k clutch in it. Is it cheaper rebuild one or buy used? I have a stock 180k 97 clutch to go back in it for now. Thanks

Depends on what's broke and if you have the time to fix it. I bought a trans that was in a fire but internals were still good for 500 bucks. I just used the third gear when mine broke.

U can get a good used one for around 1500
