2002 F 650... same engine as our dodges?

family friend having trouble with truck i havn't seen it yet but as far as he can tell its the same engine... and thinks its injector troubles....

just makin sure its not somethin differant before we order any parts.

Avery different dog. The head is the same. block has rear mounted cp3.
Once you start looking youl' see what i mean.

I had an '02 F-650 with an ISB and it was setup very similar to a pickup. I'm not saying they didn't have rear mounted CP3's on some but mine was definitely mounted on the front, just like a pickup. just my fyi.

The 02 I drove for a couple of years had the same basic engine, turbo and injectors are different sizes, controls are different in that a performance module for a Dodge truck will not work on one. Other than that same crappy lift pump on the side of the block feeding a VP 44.

weve got an 02 at work that had an injector go out a while back, i know the injectors out of my truck work in it. put my old 50hp injectors in it and it ran great. we also have an 06 f-650 as well, like said before there generally the same setup, some were different our 06 has a rear mount cp3, 2.5 inch exhaust and a tiny little turbo.
