Hi, I am currently going to school to be a diesel mechanic, I live on a farm and have always been able to fix about anything. I built the 48re in my truck and it works great, I spent over 5,000 in parts to make it half decent. I've put several thousand miles on it with no problems so far! The only thing is, it shifts through the gears really quick, for example if I'm idling or coasting from a stop, it will get into 3rd gear by 15mph and doesn't seem to wanna kick back down until you are at almost a stop. I tried adjusting the kickdown cable and tried the spring trick but it still doesn't seem to kick down, it definitely takes longer to shift out of 2nd but won't kick back down once in 3rd? Any help? Thanks!
