OK, have a 2004 that shut down and would not restart. Scanned it with Auto Enginuity and code was low rail pressure. Cleared it and it has not returned.
ECM is calling for 6200ish rail psi. Actual is 6200ish while cranking. FPR reads good (can't remember volts or percentage). Truck has no Aftermarket lift pump. But with 6200psi rail while cranking I would not think the filter housing or system is sucking air or the filter is clogged. pumped up filter housing no change, replaced filter housing oring , and fuel filter, replace fuel lines from filter to FICM sice they looked dry rotted. FICM is obviously not firing even though there is 6200ish rail psi. Not to sure how to test FICM...My AE software for some reaqson wont scan or even read supply or output voltage.
