2005 6.0 Diesel Engine For Sale

2005 Ford 6.0 Liter Diesel engine. Has 38000 miles on it. It has ATS fire ringed heads, ARP head studs, Brand new head gaskets and ATS fire rings. Injectors are Elite Diesel insanity 185cc and have been cleaned and tested and resealed. Cylinder bores and pistons look like new. No turbo or wiring harness. The intake is still off so a Egr delete kit can be installed by purchaser or I can install one for an additional charge. $5500.00 cashiers check plus crating and shipping if not picked up locally. I am in Clackamas Oregon. I may have a ATS 5R110 for sale also. It has 10,000 miles on it and is in excellent shape.

10-4, so the motor is in complete operational shape then? Shouldn't need anything accept the harness and a turbo correct?

I'm trying to decide on a fair price for the transmission. It will come with the ATS 5 star torque converter if I sell it also. It is a built ATS transmission. I'm just contemplating installing a Allison in place of it.
 
Ok engine is still for sale. Third time wasn't the charm. So looking for a fourth buyer. Last Guys 2006 F350 SD got repo'd from the Ford Dealership a week before it was supposed to be dropped off at my shop to have the engine installed.:bang. Poor guy was behind on payments three months and had just spent 7K on the engine at a shop in Colorado then after driving only 200miles miles toward Oregon it lost the number four cylinder. Had it hauled to a Ford dealership and spent another 1500 to have it pulled apart and checked out. He is a hot shot hauler and makes his money with his truck so when its down he's not making money, he told his bank where the truck was and what had happened thinking they would be sympathetic to him and give him another month but instead as soon as they found out where it was they went and repo'd it. Sad thing was, he only owed $3000 on the truck and it was paid off. The stupid bank could have at least waited until he paid me for the labor and engine and then took the truck back. :hehe:
 
Bump - The engine is sale pending again. Asking $3500.00 for the trans and torque converter. A PCS controller and harness is also available. A Destroked Cummins flex plate and bellhousing adapter available also.

Ok sold the engine again but the guys credit card was declined so back to the drawing board.. Have another guy who wants it too but since he owes me 10K already and is a month behind in his payments I don't think I will be selling it to him either.. So I was thinking maybe a trade to someone since no one actually has any money these days.. Partial trade or what ever.. I also have a 76 Ford Bronco Tub and Frame and a bunch of misc parts to go with it, that I would like to sell or trade. Asking $2000.00 for it and all the parts... It has a clean title.. If interested I can send pics.

1.) 04 newer Allison 1000 5 speed transmission, has to be a five speed not a six.. or it can be a 5 speed that has been converted to a six with a sun coast kit..

2.) Ford Super Duty manual shift transfer case 05 or newer..

3.) Ford SD dually pickup Dana 80, this is to go in the back of my 05 super duty.. I think the correct years that fit are 99-03 but I'm not sure..

4.) 77-79 Ford HP Front Dana 60 axle. Must be rust free and in good shape.

5.) Destroked 5 speed Allison controller kit

6.) Destroked Allison to Cummins transmission adapter

7.) HD Allison transmission parts and torque conveter.. Suncoast, Goerend, or PPE

8.) Dodge 6.7 cummins twin CP3 kit

9.) Destroked Allison to Cummins Flex plate

10.) A big 4x4 quad in good shape or a side by side..

11.) Heavy duty tandem axle hydaulic Dump trailer

12.) Heavy duty tandem axle car trailer

13.) Heavy duty enclosed car trailer

14.) New Duramax CP3 Pump

15.) Wild Card Customs 6.7 Intake Horn or something similar.

That pretty much sums up my wish list at the moment. So if anyone has some of these items, I would look a trade of some kind.. We could also do a install on the engine if needed and trade out some of the labor too.. Also willing to trade just labor for some of the above for any local guys needing some work done.

Engine is still for sale or trade. I kind of quit advertising it for a few months but thought I would get back on it and try and sell or trade it off. All offers considered. Give me a call 503-650-6101 ask for Rob. I can take paypal, MC, Visa, Discover and Amex. Engine comes with Injector harness, ICM and a used stock 6.0 turbo for a core. I sent in the Elite Diesel Engineering VGT-SS turbo for the engine to Elite Diesel Engineering to get new bearings and seals because it had to much play in the shaft while we were redoing the head gaskets and guess what?.. They lost the turbo and after calling them about a 100 times and only getting about five phone calls back they sent me an old used 6.0 turbo for a core.. They said they were sorry and they have had a large turnover on their crew becuase of the economy and they don't know what happened to my turbo.. So I guess that makes it alright. I guess you know who I'm never going to deal with again. I'm wondering if I should turn it in to my insurance.

Me personally I would be looking at a lawsuit unless they gave you some money or something back in turn. Cause there is no reason they should have given you a core for something that they lost. Thats just me and not knowing the complete details.

How much are you wanting to get out of the engine? Injectors included?
