Hi guys, I'm new on the site, looking to find some answers to getting myfriends ford up and running again. I was driving while towing a trailer. When I think it over boosted and blew the air intake off the turbo. I drove for about a quarter mile with an obvious lack of power pulled over and sure enough intake had blown off. The engine was to hot to put the boot back on so I shut the truck off and let it cool down enough to put the boot on. After reconnecting the intake boot to the turbo, the truck would not start again. Any idea's?

man, there are so many different possible issues here

I'll say first and foremost, welcome to the site! But I will also say that this site TENDS to be more Dodge related and is certainly more geared towards competition/performance vs. basic repair.

It would be a good idea to sign up to some Powerstroke-specific forums.

In the mean time. When you say intake, do you mean the cold charge pipe that feeds air to the engine or the actual intake feeding the turbo?
