I have a 2006 24V CR engine. Had 103k on it when it lost oil psi. I bought it to swap out my 12V in my Ford but plans have changed. It will need the crank either machined or replaced. This is a complete engine minus p/s, a/c, alternator, harness, motor mounts, adapter plate, ecm and turbo. I can throw in a he341 if needed. Engine is currently in pieces. Crank and cam still in the block. Head is bolted on.
Parts "in a box":
injectors
rods/pistons
cp3
fuel rail, lines, filter housing
push rods
damper
etc

What's so hard about posting prices on this stuff?

Generally, from what I have seen, it prices out this way:

'06-'07 heads are @ $500-$850.

ANY COMMONRAIL block worth boring, let alone maintaining standard is $500-$700.

Injectors are a minimum of $100 each for cores, if they work and you'll stand behind them, up to $250 each.

A CP3 as a core is $75, working @ $250-$300.

Fuel rail and lines, $100-$200.

Anything else is "do some research and learn".

what kind of work does the 04 block need, and the decent crank?
 
04 block has decent gouge in #6 hole almost at the top. Not sure if you could bore it or if it'd need a sleeve. Crank is decent out of above 04 block. It's not horrible but looks like the oil wasn't changed often. Not perfectly smooth on the fingernail.
