2011 with BBi 1.5's



We are ready to get some dyno numbers with the BBi 1.5s on our "11".
We dynoed today with a Smarty SR and did a run of 534 and 535. Stock CP-3 and stock Stix. 2nd gen conversion small frame 400, 75 compressor, .83 turbine wheel and a .9 housing. Also a stock lift pump.

This truck has the G-56 6 speed manual and 315 tires. Southbend 3250 d/d.

Tomorrow we torque head, install the BBi 1.5's, adjust valves, and if we have time get some dyno runs in.

why adjust valves..cant you gain a little hp by doing that...it wouldnt be apples to apples..unless you did it the same before the last dyno session.nice numbers so far though.

Don't you have to remove one rocker on each cylinder to install injectors so you lose adjustment, if you don't adjust the valves that would not be very smart.

We got the sticks in today and got er on the rollers. We need to increase fuel delivery. Stock LP doesn't cut it. Seemed to run out of fuel before 3,000 RPM. Got a run of 607 and 612.

Going to stick a FASS on it and retest. Then try an 85% over CP-3.

We will see what tomorrow might bring!

544hp, 2nd run 545hp

Added BBi1.5's

607 and 612! Runs out of fuel well below 3000 rpm. 52 psi boost, 52 psi drive and 1550 degrees

Added FASS

627 and 628 and just over 1300 ft lbs

added 85% over pump

701/1386 and 704/1391

BBI are amazing! run great in my 5.9. mine did 385hp and 725 tq with no tuning just BBI stage 1s and an air dog fuel system.. runs smooth as glass!!
