2012 exhaust on 2006?

I have a friend who has a 4" flo-pro exhaust system for his 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 mega cab. He no longer wants the system and would sell it to me for a better price than what I can get on a system new but I'm wondering if it will fit on my 2006? I will have to run a custom downpipe and I anticipate some work getting that hooked up but as far as exhaust hangers and where the system bends and turns will it all line up?

I don't mind doing a small amount of shortening or cutting and welding but if it's going to take much work I'll just buy a new system for my truck.
