I don't understand why people build these trucks for a huge amount of money and then take a big loss trying to sell them. Do they make money at shows or something?

"Over 100k invested..." Sounds like a bad investment. Investment and automobiles sedomly go together...more like x dollars dumped into it. This is why buying used is better, thats a lot of extras on there making it a good deal. You probably couldn't build that truck for 75k.

Exactly. NADA don't give a fat rat what's added. Insurance don't give a fat rat what's added. It's a pickup...or at least was before it was aborted.
 
60k miles now added efi and a cashbred off road long arm kit. Another $15,000 invested new asking price $63,000
