Ive gotten ahold of a 215 pump that was supposedly not running right. I dont have a use for it. could use the money else where.

130K miles, complete, it may have had a bad over flow valve, who knows

How much is it worth and where can I sell it fast?

If it needs to be rebuilt your looking at over $1K so it's not worth much! If it's something minor, fix it. Most good 215 pumps pull close to $1k.

Since most pump shops want $1000 or $1500 for a core charge I figured it was worth something.

That was all I seen when I was looking for a 13mm. Course its been a while since I looked. I may be better off fixing it a selling it.

You can pull the DV's, front bearing and soft plugs on the bottom to see what kind of shape it is in before you send it off so you don't get blind sided with a....it's going to be $1500 call.

So I would be looking for abnormal wear and a stuck plunger. Anything else particular?

Ok, talked to the owner.

It was getting fuel to the pump, nothing coming from the injector lines. What would cause that?

Ok, I dont know who the idiots were that this kid had work on his truck.

They done a visual check that the lift pump was pushing fuel, and none was coming out of the injector lines. He has now had them install the pump that was on my truck. It wont run for more than a 3 minutes and it sucks air.

He's in the process of installing my old lift pump. Im willing to bet he has a rotten fuel line somewhere. Im gonna have the local shop look this thing over as I seriously doubt its malfunctioning.

All those that PM'd me on it, stay tuned.

*update*

Truck this came off of now has my old injection pump and lift pump and it still wont run.

I'm almost positive this pump is fine now.
