well i've been loosing coolant so i took it to the dealership, cracked egr cooler, elite diesel sells a modded up pipe called the sneaky pipe what will i gain by putting this modded up pipe on my truck?

others have up pipes also.

what you will gain from a EGR block off their way will be a blocked off EGR cooler that if blocked off by an 1/8" plate..that will still allow heat to seep thru to the EGR cooler..it will block off pressure..but it will also create a vortex while doing so.

there are better ways of blocking off the cooler.

the idea of the sneaky pipe is a good idea..but the method that its done is not the best way.

AGreed...it's not a bad idea at all...there are just better, more thorough ways to do it. They are obviously more labor intensive though.
