4 or 5 SETS.
That many will probably cost me as much to ship as I'd be getting. LOL

Mark.

Reviving this one Mark, have you had the head off of the 97' engine to see cylinder bores? Wondering internal condition. I've got one that needs sleeved but we're not doing that for this customer. Thanks sir

I will be tearing down engines the rest of this week, barring bad weather.
I will pull the head on this one and let you know.

Dammit!
Just realized you were in "NW Arkansas"! I just got back from there, today. :(
I've been going though there for the past 2-3 weeks.
I need to run back down to Hot Springs, AR in the next week to get a trailer.

Sounds like typical timing for me mark! I haven't heard back from the machine shop yet on the head and rods but I'm not overly concerned with the rods right now as I've got an extra set. I will keep checking back here but as soon as ya get a chance to take a peak inside let me know and the same with your next trip even somewhat close and we could meet even, as long as It looks good.

Looking at heading to Columbus, Ohio this week.
Someone had asked me about this 1997 shortblock and I forget whom.
It's coming apart tomorrow for head inspection, but I'd sure like for at least the short block to disappear on this trip. :D
