In another thread, greg said that a 24v head can have the fuel return at the rear of the head blocked. The n a place in the front of the head can be drilled and taped to place it there.

Anyone else heard of this or know how its done?

Just an idea while the head is off......

yes , on a P pump 24 valve , with a front mounted fuel cell the returns are easer to plumb

I have 3 other lines coming off the pump, just thought I would dump the head there for asthetics. No real reason.

I'm thinking I'd chit to do while I wait on parts:hehe:

Yes you can do it .It just requires you to plug the rear with a 12x1.50 fitting.

Then at the front of the head there is a plug that has to pulled out then a 12x1.50 tap run into the head . Then you can have the fitting in the front.

See the head is gun drilled from one end to the other.

Im auctually thinking about trying this. My fat pudgy fingers and that freakn banjo bolt got in a fight the other night....now I have to sleep on the couch :(

But Im not sure if I have enough room to put in the AN fitting back there to run my new AN lines........

I would not tap it with a metric tap, but go with a pipe tap size , this allows you a better selection of fittings

Not necessarily , XRP makes a ton of metric fittings in 10,12,14 and in 1.25 to1.75 pitch plus you can choose from -4 to -12.
