24V head on a 12V goint into a 96 2500

Ok im wanting to put a 12V in my 96 2500 dodge. its got the v8 in it. Im wanting to sled pull with it. I was just wondering how much stuff is involved in the head swap. I figure the injector lines will have to be changed some and the pistons. anything els yall can think of? Thanks!
 
If your using a 12 valve bottme end and wanting a 24 valve head, you'll need to do a piston swap first as the 12V and 24V use different pistons(12 valve is an offset chamber and 24V is centered). You'll also need injector lines, injector hold downs, and possibly new injectors(not real sure on this, but when I looked into it awhile back it was reccomended to swap injectors).
 
P-Pump injectors have a lower pop off pressure than 24 valve injectors you can run them but it effects the timing . I would have them adjusted for the correct pressure. Rich
