I figured out the air temp sensor in the back but what is the big one for?

Same with the one by the thermostat

Last one is half way down the head on the right side

Jim , the first one is the MAP sensor, the second is coolant temp, and the third one looks like it could be a oil press. sender, but not really sure on that one!, the engine isn't out of a dodge is it?

So move the air temp to the 12V location and I should be able to use a 12V sensor.....measure of resistance right.

Map sensor need to go away with a 12v......or will a check engine light stay on.

Coolant temp will get moved to a real location and I don't know about the one in the head but it's going away.

Yes this is the block and head that came out of the 01' 12V going back in.

like i said have to use the 24v sensors on the 12v motor. but only need the intake air temp, oil psi, and water temp. will have to make adapters to put them over on the 12v as the threads are different. do not need the map sensor. the one on the top of the head looks like a aftermarket water temp sender of some sort the 24v's do not have that. and you will have a check engine light. paint the bulb (LED) black. and have fun

Cool, the picture is getting more re-fined now, I'll get that list together of parts I need and call you soon.
