2002 24v, bought for a few parts. Was told it has 200k miles.
It is missing:
Turbo
Vacuum/PS pump
Engine adapter/starter
One injector retainer bolt
Few manifold bolts
Injector line insulators/pads
Found shavings in pan <1/16"
#3 rod was contacting pass. side of block
#3 rod bearing is rough, but not deeply gouged, no chunks missing. Crank looks pretty good.
Has been sitting awhile, cam should be polished as it has some light surface rust. So do gears in the front cover, however not enough to be of worry.
#4/5 cylinders have some scuffing, enough to catch a finger nail on.
I can put it on a pallet, you handle ALL pickup details. Block is a NON 53, comes WITH vp44. I was told it was running when the engine was pulled however I can not attest to it.
$500 for entire thing. If I can sell head and pump I will continue to pick it apart. I do not have room for this in my shop and want it gone. I'll meet within reason if you want to pickup in person.
