what kind of hp gain is seen when upgrading to a aftermarket unit

how much do they typically lower the egt's

and whos is the better unit?

have read what the companies sellin em say but would like to hear from end users

I only replaced mine because the stocker looked like swiss cheese.... I would not have replaced it otherwise.. The only thing I noticed was maybe 50-100 degrees cooler egt's, boost was up, a few lbs, but I contributed that to the leaks I had.. Mine is a cooltwist from city diesel.. I did have a few fitment problems getting it installed, I took pics and sent them to city diesel and they took care of me..

I have the same intercooler because of a leaking stocker and had a few minor issues as well but I solved them fairly easily. Honestly I didn't really notice much difference but it's seen 60+ psi and is holding strong.

Same here...minor fitting issues that took about 10 minutes to fix, holding fine up to 80psi.

Changed too many things at once, so don't know about temps.

Buy them all yourself and test them....

With the way you post,nothing thats posted will be good enough for you anyway.

I will start with something for you though....
There is no HP gain in any of the ones I have seen flow tested and dyno tested.That being said,there is alot to gain in how much one will flow over the stock unit and how much one will lower intake air temps.
