I need a good hp combo for a 2nd gen. What combo can i throw together to make around 600. I know vp pump are hard to pull power outta of. I wanna do it spary free. And try not to make it to smokey.

That put me at 595hp

Is the truck gonna be for pulling or ?? I would say that a silver bullet 66, mach 6+ injectors, drag comp or redline box, airdog or fass 150, and a good running vp oughta get you there. Of course you're gonna need some supporting mods to make it live very long like that.

Better use a set of twins if you want it smoke free. 200hp or bigger injectors, drag comp, twins or 66 sized turbo, fuel pump of some sort, built trans or clutch, air intake and free flowing exhaust, and a vp that still has some desire left in it.
