hey guys i did a search an i just got alot of stuff for sale. my question is i have a 2nd gen 3 piece manifold that i have heard u can put them on a 12v but how well do they seal? and what all does it consist of

I run a Stainless Diesel 1 piece manifold and its badass, and seals great. Your probably not going to run across many that are for sale used on the forums but it is a super nice piece.

Pssssssss

2nd gen IS a 12 valve

.

thank you forrest im glad that you use common sense...not real sure why i would ask if a 12v manifold would fit on a 12v

it will work but im not sure of the benefits over a normal aftermarket 12v manifold. im actually looking to do the same thing. just make sure you compare the gasket and mark it to clean up edges that will restrict the flow.

why not ask about a 24 valve manifold going to a 12 valve

there are many of us that do not believe the 24 valve is 2nd gen

that was why my reply read as it did

the benefits would obviously be the fact that he has a 24v manifold

It must be a dOdGe thing ....right??

.

59ford... Do you have a dodge? Or information to contribute? Just wondering... I'd say it should bolt right up but you just gotta make sure it's not too close to wiring or hoses if it's bigger than stock 12 valve manifold.

NO, I DO NOT HAVE A DODGE!

I have seen a couple from time to time.

Information to contribute?..... More than you will have in your entire lifetime.

I been running Cummins in my Ford for years, rookie.

SO, if I were you, I'd be careful and not get too personal.

O brother!!

Get a 24v manifold bolt a 12v gasket to it, mark material showing with a sharpy, and then find your die grinder and some carbide bits. There you go bud so this thread can be done so no more bad asses show up trashing threads. I'm getting sick of it. Good luck. O and port match the turbo mount flange too.
