i was on you tube recently and seen a video a guy took of his truck doing a 3 cylinder high idle. Does anyone know how this is done and how it works?
 
Your ecm needs to have current software in it. If you know someone with a SMARTY they can dload a program and then set it back to stock. After that, you will have the high idle. The high idle only works when it's below a certain temp.
 
yeah mine needs to be below freezing but i do see egts at 5 to 700 deg warms it up faster. just about needed new boxers the first time it kicked in i thought my motor blew.
