Nope I ended up tying for last place. I turnt down first pull then snuffed it at about 240 ft.

Doug did you lock out your torque converter to soon or what happened just seemed like you lost everything? I need to get some bigger injectors for my common rail so I can pull of the higher gears and stay on top of the RPMS. These 100hp's just aren't cutting it.
 
pontiacross, congrats on a good hook. Obviously it has more in it thats for sure. It's been a long time coming and I'm sure it felt good to get down the track. Hope you get her up towards the top by years end.

Kind of like your brothers injectors didn't cut it like we all told him they wouldn't:hehe:
 
That is no SHAT! I wish i would of went with some bigger ones at warren county.

Oh well we have all done it. Listened to the most advertised rather than the folks that use the stuff. I think we all know I took the plunge with a bunch of well advertised stuff that didnt work at all for my needs.
 
No I locked it at a really good time I think. Since the Smarty shuts off the lights I forgot to lock out the od unit. It shifted and then blahhhhhh. I hooked the next night and went out to 350.?? feet and won. I will see you all at Scheids unless I can get over again before then. I think I would have went out to atleast 2nd place somewhere behind Ron.

Get some Flux 4.0's. If I was going to keep pulling my '06 thats what I would upgrade to. For now 3.3's will do it. But don't run a S300 with them get something bigger or just buy my 2.6 at the end of the year.

thanks anthony it definatly has been a long time comeing :bang
I tryed to run on a lower setting on my chip tonight but it didn'yt like it at all, just kept cutting out before I could get it wound up, so I went back to throwing a lot of fuel in the air and had another pretty god hook. suppost to have it live tuned in about a week and a half so hopefull it will be running a lot stronger after that:evil

we missed ya tonight hopefully what ever is wrong with your truck is a simple fix

Unsure if anything is wrong at all but it sure did act funny the other night. So I am going check everything over real good and get it ready for Scheids. Got me a couple new goodies on the way and want to have everything else right when it gets here as well. How was your hook last night?
 
I ended up right in thje middle of trhe pack again so I was happy with that.
the track was real tight and I couldn't get the wheels spinning like at st chales so I ended up snuffing the turbo at the end. but that was out around 308 foot.

I think im just going to get my truck back together and have it ready to go for indy, im proably not going to take it to scheids.
 
You talking next year for indy or is there something this year still. You mean the NADM? I wish I would have know it was a qualifier the other night. I wouldn't have even used that switch and still probally qualified.
 
Yeah! How many feet did you put on jeff the other night??? If it pulled bad the 1st time why didnt u do something different the 2nd time, or not use the switch or whatever?
