I'm looking at a ford tandem with a 3208T in it to salvage out. It's a concrete truck and the fools that worked there left a full load in the barrel when the plant shut down. Thinking I would scrap iron the truck and bury the barrel since it has no value with 8 yards of concrete in it. Do the old cat motors have any value these days?

Aka throw away Cat. I know in the past someone was hot rodding one but im sure not here. That was before the Internet.

That's the motor the silver bullet runs. I think some of the oliver and white tractors came with them also. If I get it I'll probably run it on craigslist.

A guy around here had one in a one ton ford truck back in the 80's.

My uncle had one in a rollback years ago. He found out the hard way why they are called the "throwaway08"!

I had one in a dump buggy years ago. It windowed both sides of the block.

Ya, but it would hold a big boat from moving!
There's probably a few guys that think one of these motors are the cat's meow. Buddy of mine ran into a guy that only runs and works on the old gmc motors.
