3408 CAT turbo

Ive got a CAT turbo off a 3408, measures 83mm comp ind. havent measured the turbine, but its got a 1.58 housing. Looking to get a tighter housing for this thing. Pointless to go to CAT, cant tell you anything. Any ideas?

Have you tried talking to Forced? I would think they could get you something for it.
 
The turbo you have is a UTV8335.

You'll need to take the exhaust housing off and measure the wheel inducer and exducer if you want to try and find a drop-in housing with no machining. Even then it might be a Cat-only housing which you will need to rob off some other core charger. OEM parts can be a real pain to find.

Depending on which exhaust wheel you have, it's possible that another TV or GT housing could be machined to fit your wheel, depending on how far you want to go $ wise. Your wheel is in the neighborhood of a GT55 in size and appears to be a pretty old aero design. A modern GT55 would probably run circles around it (although at a much higher cost).
