3rd gen 4" stock exhaust on 2nd gen

Can this be done? A local guy swaped his 06 exhaust to a 5" and just left me his stock 4". Anyone even done this?

yes it can work just have to move the rods that it hangs by some.

Also need to fab a downpipe.

or buy a 4" downpipe

Get a 4" downpipe or get a reducer to fit the CR exhaust to your stock downpipe. I have a turbo off an 03 on my truck and we had to fab a downpipe but the CR exhaust fits nicely under the cab. Cheap 4" setup, expecially when its given to you lol.
